Every household has minimum of one house maid (Kamwali bai) to take care of Sweeping, mopping floor (Zadu Pocha) and cleaning utensils (Bartan Manjana). Olden days there used to be one more work i.e. washing clothes (Kapada). Thanks to the Industrial revolution and development, manual work has been reduced to a big extends and now Washing Machines may be fully automatic or semi automatic has reduced the load of household labour. But automating the utensils cleaning work was somehow a neglected area and less focused one till last few years. पावभाजी ... जना मनातली... आणि हृद्य आठवणीतली

पावभाजी पुराण ... जना मनातली... आणि हृद्य आठवणीतली  पुण्यात आता मस्त थंडी पडायला लागलीय.. आणि थंडी म्हटलं कि बाजार अगदी कसा खुलून जातो छान छान ताज्या स्वच्छ भाज्यांनी. थंडीमध्ये करायची अनिवार्य गोष्ट म्हणजे पावभाजी ... परवाच मस्त शुभ्र गोरापान फ्लॉवर , हिरवी हिरवी गावरान सिमला मिरची,  नखरेल गोड गोड मटार आणि रसरशीत लाल लाल टोमॅटो मिळाले.. मग काय मस्त पावभाजीचा बेत ठरला. छान पैकी घरी रवी नि घुसळून आलेलं लोणी होतच हाताशी.. मग ठरवलं अमूल बटर पेक्षा आज लोण्यामध्ये पावभाजी करू... आणि सोबतीला गरम गरम पाव.. लिंबाची फोड आणि बारीक चिरलेल्या कांदा कोथिंबिरीची नक्षी.. अहाहा स्वर्गसुख म्हणतात ते हेच.  पहिलाच घास खाल्ला आणि मन एकदम पावभाजीच्या हिंदोळ्यावर डोलू लागलं.  अगदी ३० वर्ष मागे गेले... तेव्हा मी पाचवी सहावी मध्ये असेन. दरवर्षी शिरस्त्या प्रमाणे आम्ही सुट्ट्यांमध्ये एकदा पुणे आणि एकदा मुंबई ला जायचो.  पुणे मुंबई च्या तुलनेत नाशिक तेव्हा तसं छोटसं टुमदार शहर (छे गाव च ) होते..घरी पावभाजी सारखे पदार्थ अभावानेच बनत.. हॉटेल मध्ये खाण...

Name of Fort - Korigad or Koraigad or Kuwarigad Location - Base village is Peth Shahapur, Appprox. 25 km from Lonavala on Amby valley Road. Trek level - Easy  Date of visit - 9th Dec 2017 Korigad Fort -  This fort was incorporated into his kingdom by the  Maratha  ruler  Shivaji  along with the forts of  Lohagad ,  Visapur ,  Tung  and  Tikona  in 1657. On March 11, 1818, Colonel Prother tried to take over this fort but even after a prolonged siege could not make any headway. Finally on 14 March, by igniting the stored ammunition by means of a loose cannonball he succeeded and this fort went to the British.
